Is aerogel insulation safe and non-toxic?

Yes. Silica aerogel is an inorganic material used in food-grade and medical applications. Our blankets use glass-fiber or ceramic-fiber reinforcement and are safe to handle with gloves; dust exposure should be minimized during cutting, as with any fibrous insulation.

How thin can insulation be with aerogel?

At 0.013–0.021 W/m·K, aerogel achieves the same R-value as rock wool or EPS at roughly one-fifth of the thickness — 10mm of aerogel replaces about 50mm of conventional insulation in most building and pipe applications.

Can aerogel be used outdoors and in wet conditions?

Yes. Our standard blankets are hydrophobic with ≥99% water repellency, so rain, condensation and ground moisture do not degrade thermal performance over time.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Standard rolls start from 100 m² per size. Powder samples from 5kg, and custom/OEM programs are quoted per project. We ship worldwide via sea, air and express.
